THE HEALER'S TOOLMAKER

About Lauren
Lauren Brooke Miller {she/they from Columbus, Ohio) I am currently transitioning back to city life creating an urban medicinal garden Sanctuary and art practice in my hometown, Columbus oHio. Welcome to my page!
An avid learner, I earned my BFA from The Ohio State University in 2009 and went on to acquire my MFA in Ceramics from VCU School of the Arts in 2013. Throughout my adventures of self-discovery, I traveled and deepened my understanding of the importance of rituals, ceremony and tools in the human experience. My fascination with herbs, minerals, crystals, bodywork, energy work and all forms of self-care have carved a powerful path. Some of my personal favorite practices include the healing art of Reiki (master attunement), folk herbalism and yoga (200hour).Leading us to this very moment-- my passion is creating tools and experiences to help educate folks of all cultures and bodies the importance of creating time and space for visceral experiences in our daily routines. My one-of-a-kind tools encourage you to be aware of your own experience through self-massage and oils, smudging or by tending a garden. My vision is to promote wellness through creating tools to make rituals for our body, mind and spirit a little more pleasurable. I believe we are a key role in our own healing process and it is a lifelong journey.

Find Me monthly at Reden Yoga for one of my favorite topics topics to share, Lymph Love. Every first Sunday at 1pm for an hour of exploring what lymph is, why it needs our attention and how to support it using various movement, breath and practices to support healthy lymphatic function. I love to collaborate and am looking to visit communities bringing tools, herbal products and knowledge to enrich your everyday routines into rituals you want to come back to.
